Oliver Brooks, 89, of Meriden, entered into eternal rest on October 28, 2015.
Born in Bozman, MD, September 7, 1926, he was the son of the late Edwin and Blanche Palmer Brooks.
He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees.
Mr. Brooks was previously employed at Christoforo Farm as a Truck Driver and was a member of the local Teamsters Union.
He is survived by a brother, Donald Brooks; stepson, William Brown; stepdaughter, Tanya Brown; other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.
A celebration of Mr. Brooks’ life will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 84 Franklin St., Meriden. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
