I remember Joyce when we were growing up in Brookside and I would continue to see her around New Haven over the years. She may have changed on the outside but inside still was the sweet young lady she always was. May her soul rest in peace.

The first time I met her she seemed uncomfortable particularly it was T.I.C good will love and support gave Joyce a different Outlook . Again thank you family she was miss and valuable citizen of the Zblack community Amen
There were many people that knew your mom on different levels in her life, and I was one of them. Joyce and I used to speak in passing over the years from time to time. In fact, the last time my mom and I saw her…. we sent prayers to her and your family. It’s never easy when a loved one passes on, however, there is great comfort knowing that they are at peace, and in the arms of God. Joyce was kind, nice and didn’t bother a soul, and we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ampley family, and to all who loved her.. May she continue to SIP

I moved to Atlanta back in 2017 and have not seen her recently and came across her obituary. The last 12 years prior I would run into her on Whalley Ave all the time…she was always respectful when she spoke no matter her situation. Joyce, may God give you eternal rest and my condolences to the family…R.I.P.π
