Everton P. Chambers, age 65, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, with his family by his side.

Mr. Chambers was born in Portland, Jamaica on June 30, 1958, a son of the late Steadman and Mary Chambers.

Everton graduated from Ansonia High School in 1977. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge.

Everton was currently employed at Lockheed Martin (formerly United Technologies / Sikorsky Aircraft) as a Continuous Innovator Specialist in the Engineering Department.

While employed at Sikorsky Aircraft, he attended Albertus Magnus College and acquired an Associate Degree in Science Management, a Bachelor of Science Degree, Master Degree of Science in Management and a Master Degree of Science Technology.

Everton enjoyed hiking, bicycle riding and traveling.

He leaves to cherish loving memories, his siblings, Ezra Chambers, Adonijah Chambers, Erna Chambers, Volux Chambers, Winnifred Oshosado, Blossetta Chambers, Dennies Chambers, Calvin Chambers and Bethnal Chambers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in the USA, UK and Jamaica.

He was predeceased by an elder brother, Herman Chambers.

A private memorial service will be held by his family.
