William O. Spell, 74, of East Hartford, CT, entered eternal rest on July 9, 2019. He was the husband of Lautrisha Spell.
Mr. Spell was born in Greenville, NC on November 18, 1944, a son of the late Hebrew Spell and Sarah Spell.
He was a member of Wayfaring Ministries of Greater Hartford and prior to retiring, was employed at Robby Len Swim Co. as a Machinist.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish loving memories, a daughter, Mia Thompson (Eric); a son, Kunta Spell (Francine); one brother, Ray Spell (Patricia); sisters, Sarah Spruil (Noble) and Mary Kendrick; four grandchildren, Daria, Alyssa, Eric Jr. and Rachel Thompson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Johnny Spell; and two sisters, Florence Daughtry and Marjorie Lewis.
A celebration of Mr. Spell’s life and legacy will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wayfaring Ministries, 29 Marne St. Rear, Hamden. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
