Vivian L. Crawley, 63, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Clarence E. Crawley.
Mrs. Crawley was born in New Haven, CT on August 29, 1953, a daughter of the late Allen H. Hudson and Virginia L. Gunn Smith.
Vivian was employed at Yale-New Haven Health as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish loving and lasting memories, her daughter, Taqwetta D. Crawley; sisters, Vallerie Hudson-Brown (Ronald) and Alisa B. Adams; brothers, Ronnie G. Smith (Betsy), Jeffrey A. Smith (Yvette), Allen W. Hudson (Lisa) and Lawrence V. Hudson; a granddaughter, Wynter Olivia Wares; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Barry Smith.
A celebration of Mrs. Crawley’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
