I was the minister for the Whitney Avenue Church of Christ from 1996-1999. Vicki was such a blessing in my life and ministry. She was such a positive and encouraging person. I thought of Vicki tonight when my wife and I went to see the movie Respect about Aretha Franklin. In 1999, Vicki invited me to join her in attending an Aretha Franklin concert in Wallingford. We had such a wonderful time. I have never forgotten the concert or Vicki. May the God of all comfort be with Vicki’s family. I look forward to a grand reunion in God’s new creation.

To the Draughn Family….Praying that God will comfort and heal you during your time of sorrow.
Just returning from vacation learning that Shane’s mother-in-law went home to be with our heavenly father. I did not know Ms.Draughn but from reading the different comments I quickly realized that she was a blessing to this earth. She was everything God wants us to be and practice on a daily basis. Her daughter-in-law Shane Draughn is the epidemy of her mother-in-law with a sweet and kind spirit that welcomes all to her table.
