To the extended Washington family,
I was saddened to hear about Velmar’s (Val’s) passing. She was a good person and good worker. I offer my condolences to the family. I’m sorry for your loss. I worked at Pratt in East Hartford and also Middletown and was a Business Representative for the IAM (Machinist Union) and was assigned to the North Haven plant in 1999 and then East Hartford from 2001 to 2018 when I retired.
