Phyllis White, 75, of New Haven, died on February 27, 2021, in New Haven. She was the widow of Phillip White, Sr.
Mrs. White was born in Torrington, CT on October 16, 1945, a daughter of the late Oliver Thompson, Sr. and Frances Lela Thompson.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at Honeywell as a Fire Alarm Assembler. Phyllis was a member of the Westville Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Phillip White, Jr.; daughter, Starr White; a brother, Donald Thompson; sisters, Roberta Proctor and Virginia Ivory; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by brothers, Gordon Thompson and Oliver Thompson, Jr.; and sisters, Pauline White King and Margo Walker.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. A maximum of 35 people will be allowed to attend the funeral service. A Walk-through viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. First and for most this is a shock to the whole family auntie ,you are truely going to be missed by all of us , we love uncondictionly , i know that you are in a better place now with your husband and mom and dad ,and sisters and brothers now but i wish you was still here with us , your kids al lost without you too ,as well as grand kids , but you know me mom and patsy have your back always and we are all going to look out for them if they need us , we all love you and needed you here still but we know what is best and missed uncle phillip and missed him so you are now with him again ,rest on auntie , love you always tell everybody we said hello and love them too
