Olga V. Bryant, 98, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved widow of Benjamin Bryant.

Born on December 8, 1926, in Battleboro, North Carolina, Olga was the cherished daughter of the late Fate and Sadie Harper. She dedicated 17 years of service to the Southern New England Telephone Company, where she worked as an Administrative Service Representative before her retirement.

Olga leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her daughter, Patricia Bryant; granddaughter, Simona Jones; great-granddaughter, Rayna Livingston; brother, Frank Harper of Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Sadie Wright of Hyattsville, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is predeceased by her brothers, William Harper, Gomager Harper, Samuel Harper, Fate Harper Jr., Moses Harper, David Harper and James Harper; as well as her sisters, Mary Thorne, Selma Pope, and Catherine Person.

A celebration of Olga’s remarkable life will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven, followed by the burial in Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven, CT.  Family and friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
