She was preceded in death by a brother, William Benjamin Taylor; and sisters, Betty Molette and Susie Haywood.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Eastern Star MB Church, Tarboro, NC. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery, Tarboro, NC.
Mrs Tillery is remembered fondly at the A.V. Grimes Center. An independent thinker and doer, I was honored as her chaplain, to get to know her there and to help her maintain her independence. She spoke fondly of her family, particularly Iesha and Norris. May you find comfort in the memories you have of her.
Sincerely,
Rev. Mae Williams, Chaplain
Yale New Haven Hospital
