Lakita M. Williams, 38, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2014.
Born in New Haven, CT, November 27, 1976, she was the daughter of Richard White and the late Troy Washington-McRae.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Troynasja Shaw; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Maebell Washington; paternal grandmother, Peggy White; brothers, Randy Jones and Jordan and Curtis White; sisters, Tamyira, Camille and Whitney White and Thalia Coben; stepfather, Paul Lester McRae; stepbrother, Paul Edwards; stepsister, Karen Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Troy Washington.
A celebration of Lakita’s life will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at New Flame Restoration Church, 1375 State St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
