Harvey Boatwright, 70, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on June 11, 2019. He was the widower of Carolyn Boatwright.
Mr. Boatwright was born in McDuffie, GA on September 14, 1948, a son of the late Sip and Carrie Boatwright.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as a Supervisor at Marlin Firearms.
He leaves to cherish loving memories, daughters, Sheila, Deborah, Harleen and Shochita Boatwright; a brother, Ned Boatwright; sisters, Eunice and Marie Boatwright, Louise Boatwright Credle, Martes Pool, Helen Ross and Virginia Moncrief; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by sisters, Mildred Lamar, Josephine Reese and Marzel Holloman.
A celebration of Mr. Boatwright’s life and legacy will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
