Francella L. Walters, 96, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on April 24, 2020.
Ms. Walters was born in Jamaica on September 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Jeremiah Jackson and Beatrice Cole Williams.
She was a longtime member of Church of God of Prophecy in New Haven where she served on the Mother’s Board ministry.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, daughters, Pansy Walters, Carol Wilson and Vernetta Wright (Conroy); sons, Leroy (Rose), Lester (Laverne) and Lebert (Sherry) Walters; sisters, Rachel Williams, Phyllis Spraphan, Daphne Porter and Violet Campbell; brothers, Thomas, Robert and Ervin Williams; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Herbert Walters; son in-law, Joseph Wilson; sisters, Hyacinth Campbell and Desreen Allen; and brothers, Rudolph and Isaiah Williams.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven.
