Ceola Boddie, 66, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on April 2, 2017.
Ms. Boddie was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on January 4, 1951. She was a daughter of the late Robert Neal and Mary Henley.
She leaves to cherish loving and lasting memories, a son, Steven Boddie; daughter, Annie Christine Boddie; brothers, Henry, David and Harvey Neal; a sister, Cynthia Marie Neal; grandchildren, Pablo L. Martindale, Shaquanna Martindale, Michael Gabriel Chirico and Steven Andrew Boddie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a sister, Pearletha Gallman.
A celebration of Ms. Boddie’s life and legacy will be held Monday, April 10, 2017, at 12:00 PM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 11:00-12:00 PM. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
My dear Cousin – I hate to see you go. I will always remember the oldies we played at Sheila’s house and how we were dancing and singing to them one New Year’s Eve. I cherish our precious conversations. God has called on you as He will all of us. Keep smiling. Rest in Peace.
