Carole Green-Alexander, 69, of Cheshire, entered into eternal rest on March 26, 2015. She was the wife of Maud (MC) Alexander for 20 years.
Born in New Haven, CT, December 21, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Austin Lewis and Effye Webb Lewis Harris.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Green-Alexander was employed at ACES Early Childhood Development as an Assistant Principal.
She was a member of Mt. Gideon Faith Fellowship Church and was also a member of Sisters’ Sharing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Vincent Lewis (Sonia) of Mount Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Marjani, Najee and Taj Green all of Philadelphia, PA and Sidni Green of Willingboro, NJ; a stepson, Evret Alexander; step-grandchildren, Erika, Evan, Taylor and Reagan Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Tad Rice Green; brother, Austin Lewis; and a stepdaughter, Ericka Alexander.
A celebration of Mrs. Green-Alexander’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Gideon Faith Fellowship Church, 363 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
