Beverly Ann Taylor, 70, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on October 11, 2017.
Ms. Taylor was born in New Haven, CT on July 13, 1947. She was a daughter of the late Charles H. Benson and Ethel P. Williams.
Prior to retiring, Beverly was employed at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a Social Worker.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, sons, Christopher Taylor (Toni) and Mark Taylor (Evelyn Beal-Taylor); a daughter, Rhonda Taylor; brothers, Charles, Richard, Ronald and Carlton Benson and Stewart Williams; a sister, Marsha Williams; grandchildren, Mark Jr., Damon, Jessica and Devin Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, James Williams; and her stepfather, Robert Williams.
A celebration of Ms. Taylor’s life and legacy will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul UAME Church, 1267 Chapel St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
