So sorry to hear of Sis. Shelton’s passing. She was kind and cared a lot about serving others. She was very kind to me during my time at Varick, and I will always remember the joy she brought to others by her laughter and smiles. She was a phenomenal woman.
To the Shelton Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Audrey. She was a beautiful woman with a kind and gentle soul. We stayed in touch through her journey and I would call to check on her from time to time. If a couple of weeks passed and I hadn’t called her, she would call me to give me a report. She was always positive and never gave up. Audrey was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and I am going to miss our conversations. I meet Audrey when I worked at SNET and she worked at the Credit Union. She loved her family, she loved life, she loved God and she fought a good fight. RIP Audrey!
Keeping you all in my prayers,
Mildred Cannon 🙏🏾🙏🏾

She helped my mother gain employment at Snet ( the credit union ) and didn’t stop there she followed through with connecting my mom With the kindergarten her niece was going to , that is when I met my best friend Astra ! This family welcomed me loved me and cared for me as their own ! Aunt Audrey will be greatly missed ! I only hope to me as great a woman that she was ! With love and peace may god see you all through this loss …
Our prayers and condolences are extended to the family. We were saddened when hearing of Audrey’s passing, yet rejoices in knowing that she know longer is suffering. The word of God let’s us know she is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Family we know that Audrey knew and loved the Lord which gives us this assurance. As for you all keep trusting in him
Audrey, trained me when I was a teller at Connex Credit Union in Hamden over 10yrs ago. She was the best!!! Always vibrant and kind. Many condolences to her family and wishes for strength and peace during your time of bereavement.
I knew Audrey from my time on the Board at Connex Credit Union which was originally the New Haven Telephone Employees Credit Union. She had a very kind and engaging personality and a strong work ethic. She was a true professional in every role she took on. I was sad to hear of her passing and extend my sympathy to her family and friends.
I just learned about Audrey’s passing, and am very sad that this world has lost such a smart, kind, and honest person. She lit up a room with her smile, and led her team with such positivity at all times. I had the privilege of being both a Board member and later a colleague of Audrey’s at the credit union. My prayers are with her family and friends. May she RIP.
