Robert was born on March 10, 1940, in Camden, North Carolina, to Mr. and Mrs. Christine Lewis and Robert Burroughs. Robert dedicated over 40 years of his career to H. Krevit & Company, where he worked as a skilled chemical handler. Known for his diligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic, he earned the respect of his colleagues and friends.

Robert dedicated himself to Jehovah God and Jesus and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 18, 1978. And later serving faithfully as an Elder in his congregation.
His faith was a pillar of his life, which he shared joyfully with others. His joy aided him in assisting 7 bible students to dedicate themselves to baptism. His favorite scripture, Isaiah 41:10, provided him comfort: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
Robert cherished the closeness of Jehovah’s hand, a bond he encouraged others to embrace.
