Cheryl Clintelle Ellis, age 45, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on March 30, 2024.
She was born in New Haven, CT on May 28, 1978, a daughter of Lillian Blue Vinston and Otis Vinston, Sr.
Cheryl attended St. Matthew’s UFWB Church in New Haven and was most recently employed by Wells Fargo Bank as a Customer Service Representative.
In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish loving memories, a daughter, Amaiya Ellis; sisters, Tomeka Vinston and Javana Vinston; her brother, Otis Vinston, Jr.; former husband, Terence Ellis; a special friend, Lopez Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The burial will be private.
