Jimmy C. Bryant, 75, of West Haven, entered eternal rest on October 16, 2022. He was the widower of Dorothy M. Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was born in Ayden, NC on August 15, 1947, son of the late Joseph Bryant and Clennie Bryant.
He was a Vietnam War Army veteran, receiving an honor discharge in 1968.
Jimmy was employed for many years at Stop & Shop Company as a Selector in the warehouse.
He leaves to cherish loving memories, sons, Jamul Bryant and William Pugh; a daughter, Jemelle Bryant; two grandsons, Jeremy and Christopher Pugh; brother, Johnny Smalls; brothers in-law, Alonzo Pugh, Rev. Floyd Pugh, Thomas Pugh and William Pugh; sisters-in-law, Edna Leggette and Bertha Watts; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers-in-law, Rasper Pugh and Louis Ray Pugh; and his mother in-law, Lossie Pugh.
A celebration of Mr. Bryant’s life and legacy will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. The viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. The burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
