Zenna M. Neal, 68, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on December 9, 2021.
Ms. Neal was born in Georgetown, SC on September 11, 1953, a daughter of the late Charles S. Neal and Olivia Heyward Neal.
Prior to her retirement, Zenna was employed at Yale-New Haven Hospital as Assistant Chief of the Blood Bank. Ms. Neal was a longtime member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church and was previously a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, her sisters, LaVinia Neal-DuBois, Retta Neal-Johnson and Serena Neal-Sanjurjo; brothers, Charles Neal, Jr. and Samuel Troy Neal; nephew Michael Neal; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Neal’s life will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St., New Haven. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. The entombment will be in the Beaverdale Memorial Park Mausoleum.
