Keba— Your mother’s dedicated services to children in OUR community is unmistakably where you got your tenacity to challenge inequity and injustice. I learned the other side of foster care through your experiences. Those seeds of REALNESS guide my steps to this day – especially when planning for older youth in care.
KB Every move you made to advance a cause has always brought along others — to make us all stronger. Never taking a position of inferiority, you learned that being proud of who we are and not settling with the status quo is expected. We have borne witness to the legacy you have lived in your mom’s reflection.
Sleep in peace Queen; you have mightily earned this rest. You have left this world better than it treated you and better for all who come after. “I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept.” AD
To the Bosley’s. Your mother was a great person that taught me a lot about life. She was the greatest coach that I ever had. She knew the game of basketball as well as anyone. She made a lot of West Haven boys into successful men today. We will all missed her.
Mrs. Bosley meant more to me than words could ever express. She had a profound presence on so many lives. I am grateful she treated me like one of her children. Including keeping it real and not sugar coating her opinions. For that I am forever grateful. My wife and I are praying for my best childhood friend Harry and his entire family. God will give you what you need for this time. Rest In Peace Mrs. Bosley.

Bos ~ I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Stay strong my friend ❤️
Mrs. Bosley, who I affectionately knew as “Auntie Boz” as a 6th grader at Forest School in 1986-87 has had a hand in my upbringing, as well as my wife and two children, who are all alumni of Forest School.
Her death last autumn is truly the end of an era, not only for the Forest School lunch waves, but youth basketball, where she coached for decades.
Thank you, “Auntie Boz” for taking time out to enrich the lives of young people in the City of West Haven.
May her soul and the souls of all of the faithfully departed “Lunch Mothers” of Forest School, through the mercy of God, rest-in-peace.
Auntie Elsie,
Will be missed???
