Rose Marie Petrucci Fusco was much beloved by her late husband Lorenzo (Lawrence) Fusco; her daughter Maria Katherine and her grandson, Steven Philip Watts; her son, Lawrence Anthony, wife Danusia, and her granddaughter, Sarah Rose; her church family, Christ and the Epiphany, East Haven, CT; her dear friends, Gail Schappa and the late Roberta (Cathy) Watts; and most of all, her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, in whom she trusted ever increasingly throughout her life. She was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa Caso, Margaret Zocco; and brothers, Joseph, Harry, George, Lawrence, Charles, John, and Russell; and her dearly loved nephew, Frank Caso and his wife, Eva.
Rose was truly a beautiful flower. She loved people and never failed to encourage them. She was grateful for all the kindness she received and expressed it. She had the gift of only seeing the best in people, even if it were to her own detriment. Rose loved her church and dedicated every Saturday throughout each summer to the garage sale. She grew fond of the regular customers and prayed for them when they were in need. She looked forward to every Christmas fair and worked tirelessly to sell every cookie, brownie, and pie at the baked goods table. She was a faithful intercessor on the prayer chain.
Our mother, grandmother, and friend was so full of life and such a strong presence for all of her nearly 99 years that it is difficult to feel she has even left us. We look forward to seeing her again when we are all gathered together with Jesus in our heavenly home.
