Timothy Brand, 65, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2015. Born in Kingstree, SC, August 20, 1950, he was the son of Anna Bell Fulwood Brand and the late Arthur Brand.
Mr. Brand was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Marlo Kareem Brand; sisters, Frances ‘Delores” Mouzon (George), Jessie Carter (William) and Fannie Brand (Myron); a brother, Arthur Brand, Jr.; a granddaughter, Jackie Griffin; great grandchildren, Anastasia, Patience and Quentin Griffin;and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Louis Brand.
A celebration of Mr. Brand’s life and legacy will be held Friday, October 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
