Sorry for your loss
Very sorry for your loss.Although I worked with your father for just a few years I remember him as a gentle man He seemed to always have a smile.God bless your family.
To the family, I am sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. We worked together at the Police Deaprtment & he was always a mild mannered individule & was very easy to speak to. RIP Ron
Sorry to hear about Officer Thomas passing. When he was on the beat in the ’70’s, we lived on West Read St & when he was on patrol in the middle of the night, he saw flames coming from our 3rd floor & he radioed in for the Fire Department and he got my parents & the 2nd floor tenants out of the house waking them up from their sleep.
My parents were forever grateful to Officers Thomas & another officer who rescued them before the fire department arrived. I am sure that my mother & father were waiting for you at the Pearlie Gates with a pot of her meatballs & linguine that she made for you while you were here. Rest in Peace Sir & may God Bless You
My condolences to his sons & surviors to Officer Thomas. Many years ago I owned a family owned grocery store on Davenport Ave & whenever we had a problem in the neighborhood he was the first to arrive & the last to leave & the kids knew he meant business. When the kids saw the squad car number 40 THEY knew it was Officer Thomas & WE all felt much safer in the Davenport & Baldwin St area. My sincere condolences
