Roberta “Lucinda” Mack, 78, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on October 26, 2015. She was the widow of Henry Mack.
Born in Chesterfield, SC, March 3, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Henry Louis Streater and Dinah Blue Streater.
She was a member of Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church where she served on the Missionary Auxiliary, served as an usher and was a choir member.
Mrs. Mack was previously employed at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide for thirty years. After retirement, she served as a private duty Certified Nurse’s Assistant.
She is survived by sons, Theodore, Anthony, and Aaron Lloyd; daughters, April Young (John), Lisa Crocker (Joseph) and Cicily Trimble; brothers, Henry (Nannie), Robert (Thelma), and Walter Streater (Diane) and John Blue (Barbara); sisters, Lillie Sowell (Arthur), Tonsie Moore, Nezzie Ransom, Dinah Sellers, Bobbie Barrett and Patricia Kingsberry; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by brothers, William and Thomas Streater; and a sister, Flora Parker.
A celebration of Mrs. Mack’s life and legacy will be held Monday, November 2, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m -12:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
