Ricardo Christopher Ross departed this world on June 2, 2023 in New Haven, CT. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and later raised in New Haven, CT. Rick attended Lee High School and then obtained his vocational certifications as a mechanic at Eli Whitney. He went on to receive his certificate in telecommunications from Henkel and McCoy.
He worked at Yale University for 26 years as a telephone installer.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Ross; sons, Christopher Ross, Cameron Ross, and Robert Foy; one daughter, Latasha Ross; four grandchildren, Amber Ross, Jakiah Ross, Kalyn Harvin and Harper Walker-Ross; his mother, Daisy Ross; brother, Howard Ross; and sister, Janet Dixon.
Mr. Ross was predeceased by his father, John B Ross.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
