Patricia A. Brown, 63, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on January 18, 2023.
Ms. Brown was born in Derby, CT on March 4, 1959, daughter of the late Samuel Brown and Ann Elizabeth Barnett Brown.
Prior to retiring, she was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services. Patricia was a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Ansonia, CT.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, her sister, Elaine Barnett; aunts, Ruth Barnett, Marilyn Barnett, Harriett Hart, Elkana Barnett, Naomi Knox (William) and Pauline Barnett; an uncle, Glenn “Mickey” Johnson (Janie); and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her children, Dennis Carr, Kyle Edwards and Denise Edwards; an uncle, William Barnett, Jr.; and aunts, Delores Flax and Barbara Thompson.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven. A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at a later date.
