β‘β‘ AUDREY LLOYD AND FAMILY β‘β‘
Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel of losing one of what I’ve called my “favorite” cousins. Although we did not talk all of the time, I must say, when we did talk we talked about the Lord and all of the good times we had years ago. LaVerne I will miss you being here but take your rest in the arms of our Savior. I’ll see you in that great gett’n up morning. I love you but it’s obvious that our Savior loved you best my sweet cousin.πππΎπ
I Love You (Gung Gung) you are truly the Best Grandmother that I could ever pray for, Take your Rest Queen!
Rest in peace Miss Laverne. One by one, the Tall Dolls are reuniting. My deepest sympathy to your family.

To All Of Laverne’s Family and Friends I had the opportunity to work with after I left Winchester and went to SNET, what a Gem, Priceless and Simply Beautiful Woman I am extremely glad and grateful our paths met and crossed. I would like to dedicate this Poem that is very close to my heart and soul

Poem: A Child Of Mine
I will lend for a little time,
A child of mine, He said,
For you to love while she lives,
And mourn for when she’s dead.
It may be six or seven years,
Or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back,
Take care of her for me?
She’ll bring her charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief.
You’ll have her lovely memories.
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn,
I’ve looked the wide world over,
In search for teachers true,
And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes,
I selected you.
Now will you give her all your love,
Nor think the labour vain.
Nor hate me when I come
To take her home again?
I fancied that I heard them say,
‘Dear Lord, Thy will be done!’
For all the joys thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we’ll run.
We’ll shelter her with tenderness,
We’ll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we’re known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for her,
Much sooner then we’ve planned.
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand.
