
Keisean D. Cotton, 27, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on January 16, 2025. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on December 30, 1997, he was the cherished son of Rita Taylor.
Keisean was a dedicated employee of Yale-New Haven Health, serving as an Operating Room Supplier. He was known for his warm spirit, hard work, and devotion to his family and friends.
Keisean’s memory will be lovingly cherished by his mother, Rita Taylor; his father, John Cook; his beloved companion, Jayliz Lima; his precious daughter, Kehlani Cotton; his brother, Kashiem Taylor; and his sisters, Kamara Taylor (John Thigpen) and Katresa Taylor (Mario Darden). He also leaves behind a host of close nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jordan Williamson, whose memory he carried in his heart.
Keisean’s kindness, love, and lasting impact will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Keisean’s life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.

Ever since I was informed of your passing, it breaks my heart into a million pieces. I’m so glad that I got a chance to meet you a couple of summers ago when you came to Florida. I am going to miss seeing you during the summer time. I will do my best to keep your memory alive. Rest well my sweet and dear cousin you will always have a special place in my heart.
