Clarence E. Crawley, 70, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on June 7, 2018. He was the widower of Vivian Crawley.
Mr. Crawley was born in Newport News, VA on July 5, 1947, the son of the late Will and Helen Crawley.
Clarence was a self-employed Contractor; a Vietnam War Army veteran; and was a longtime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He leaves to cherish loving memories, a daughter, Taqwetta Crawley Wares (Kaliq, Sr.); grandchildren, Kaliq, Jr., Lina, Wynter and Naim Wares and Dilla Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Sarah B. Thomas, Elizabeth “Betty” Taylor and Helen Isis Crawley.
A celebration of Mr. Crawley’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
