Chester Cash, 68, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on March 26, 2018. He was the widower of Paula Cash. Mr. Cash was born in Chesterfield, SC on February 10, 1950, a son of the late Robert and Odessa Cash. Prior to retiring, he was employed at Sargent Manufacturing as an Assembler. Chester leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Daniel Cash; daughter, Tanette Rigsby; a brother, Raymond Cash; sisters, Katherine Lockwood (Lawrence) and Ola Mae Kelly; a grandchild, Jai T. Cash; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Cash; and two sisters, Thelma Kelly and Redessa George.
A celebration of Mr. Cash’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at New Flame Restoration Center, 1375 State St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Though I do not know your loved one, I am touched by your loss. So I extend my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your beloved, Chester. Please know that Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ is aware of your pain and they care for you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) . I hope that you are able to find some comfort in God’s promise of paradise where there will be no more pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4,5) and the many wonderful memories of your loved one becoming a reality in the future resurrection in paradise.
