Tyrus Emmett Henderson, 67, of New Haven, departed this life October 8, 2014.
Born in Clifton Forge, VA, December 13, 1946, he was the son of the late Russell Henderson and Myrtle Thomas Henderson.
Mr. Henderson was a member of Beth El Ministry of Grace.
He is survived by sisters, Dorothy Minor Marion (Phillip) and Wanda Ortiz (George); a brother, Tyrone Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Tyrees Henderson; and a sister, Carolyn Shepard.
A celebration of Mr. Henderson’s life will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014, at 6:00 P.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 P.M. Burial will be private
