Rosalind Levette (McClure) Harris 61, entered into eternal life on October 11, 2016. She is survived by her husband Larry Harris of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Rosalind was born on August 26, 1955 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Gwendolyn (Molly) McClure and David W. McClure Sr. of New Haven, CT. Rosalind attended James Hill House High School in New Haven, CT, before attending the Stone Academy earning a Certificate Degree. During her early years in Connecticut, Rosalind was an active member of Christ Chapel New Testament Church. Rosalind loved to sing; she was choir member in the Youth Choir and participated in other organizations at the church. One of her favorite songs she loved to sing, “We Come This Far by Faith Leaning on The Lord”.
Rosalind is predeceased by her sister Stephanie McClure, and survived by two sisters; Allison McClure-Reyes (Husband Peter Reyes) of Meriden, CT, Gwendolyn McClure Jr. of New Haven, CT; two brothers, David W. McClure Jr. (Wife Ruthie) of West Haven, CT, and Douglas E. McClure (Wife Tiffany) of California. She also leaves behind a host of loving relatives and friends who will miss her.
A celebration of her life will be held at Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at United House of Prayer, 100 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT. Burial will be private.
