Retha Smith Hill, age 89, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter, Marian Holmes; granddaughter, Jennifer Holmes, and many relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held 5 p.m -7 p.m. Thursday, December 20 at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St, New Haven. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 100 Lawrence St., New Haven. Burial will be at Center Cemetery, North Haven.

My deepest condolences to the Family on the lost of your dear loved one our average life span is 70yrs or 80yrs if especially strong (Psalm 90:10) Ms Hill lived beyond that living a full life may you find comfort in God’s promise that we will be able to see our loved ones again (John 5:28,29)
