Phyllis White, 75, of New Haven, died on February 27, 2021, in New Haven. She was the widow of Phillip White, Sr.

Mrs. White was born in Torrington, CT on October 16, 1945, a daughter of the late Oliver Thompson, Sr. and Frances Lela Thompson.

Prior to retiring, she was employed at Honeywell as a Fire Alarm Assembler. Phyllis was a member of the Westville Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Phillip White, Jr.; daughter, Starr White; a brother, Donald Thompson; sisters, Roberta Proctor and Virginia Ivory; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by brothers, Gordon Thompson and Oliver Thompson, Jr.; and sisters, Pauline White King and Margo Walker.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. A maximum of 35 people will be allowed to attend the funeral service. A Walk-through viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
