Marjorie F. Fowler, 92, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on November 6, 2017. She was the widow of Clifford L. Fowler.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Milford, CT on October 18, 1925, daughter of the late Ferdinando and Edna Parris.

Prior to retiring, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Harborside Willows Healthcare Center.

Marjorie was a longtime parishioner of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in New Haven where she served as member of the Altar Guild, Women’s Chorale and secretary.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and internationally.

Mrs. Fowler leaves to cherish loving memories, a daughter, Pamela M. Fowler; sons, David E. Fowler (Janet), Wayne N. Lowry and T. Kevin Lowry (Robin); a stepson, Wayne Miggins (Geraldine); five grandchildren, Wayne N. Lowry, Jr., Theodore, Blair, Daniel and Christopher Lowry; five great grandchildren; a special brother, Fredericke L. Parris (Emma); an adopted sister, Suzanne S. Robinson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful friends and especially her wonderful neighbors.

She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth W. Lowry; a sister, Elizabeth “Betti” Wentt; and a grandson, Charles F. Lowry.

A memorial service to celebrate Marjorie’s life and legacy will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Ave., New Haven. Burial of her cremated remains will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonicare Home Health and Hospice, 104 South Turnpike, Wallingford CT 06492, in memory of Marjorie F. Fowler or to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Bereavement Fund, St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. Please note in the memo “Bereavement Fund in memory of Marjorie F.
