Lois Redding, 77, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on February 2, 2017.

Ms. Redding was born on April 6, 1939, in Atlanta, GA to the late Willie Andrew Sinkfield and Rochelle Redding Sinkfield.

Prior to retiring in 1997, she was employed at the Hill Health Center as a City Welfare Payable Clerk.

Ms. Redding was a member of Nehemiah’s Day Outreach Ministries where she served on the Mother’s Board.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a life-long companion, John Bland; a son, Roger Redding; daughters, Linda Joyce Redding and Valerie Redding; brothers, Willie (Deborah) Andrew Sinkfield, Robert Sinkfield and Tony (Denise) Sinkfield; five sisters, Marion Johnson, Beverly Sinkfield, Estella Washington, Joanne Sinkfield and Gail Sinkfield; 24 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by sons, Ralph and Kenneth Redding; a daughter, Jeannie Redding; a brother, Ralph Sinkfield; and sisters, Marie Redding and Brenda Sinkfield.
