Kenneth Julius West, 51, of New York, NY, formerly of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2016.
Mr. West was born in Nansemond County, VA on August 22, 1964. He was the son of the late Margaret M. West and Bud Davis.
Kenneth was a self-employed Carpenter and General Laborer.
He is survived by a daughter, Sharie Evans; sisters, Charlene (David) Rigsbee, Dena West, Hope Thomas and Carlette Johnson; a brother, Charles Thomas; two grandchildren, Tyrique Evans and Aaron Hurdle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Mr. West’s life and legacy will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
