Kenneth Milton Mullings, Jr., 66, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on June 14, 2016. He was the loving husband of Marion Regina Mullings.

Kenneth was born in New Haven, CT, on March 8, 1950, son of the late Kenneth “Mike” Mullings and Dorothy Mullings.

He served as a Firefighter for the New Haven Fire Department and was then promoted to the position of Life Safety Compliance Officer as an Inspector for the City of New Haven.

Kenneth had a loving passion for photography and was the owner of Desmarq Studios. He enjoyed going to the movies with his children; driving his Corvette; and attending classic car shows.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Mulllings leaves to honor his legacy and cherish loving and lasting memories, his children, Desirae Mullings-Faison, Kenneth Marques Mullings and Jessica Mullings (Idris Westbrook); grandchildren, Demitri Mullings, Marques Joel Mullings and Landon Jones; his siblings, Michelle Williams (Paul) and Donald ” Sonny” Mullings (Lazelle); and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mr. Mullings’ life and legacy will be held Monday, June 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Vertical Church, 225 Meloy Rd., West Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Entombment will be in the Beaverdale Mausoleum.
