Eugenia Christian Foster, 85, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on October 27, 2016.
Ms. Foster was born in New York, NY, November 10, 1930, daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle Christian.
Prior to retiring, Eugenia was employed at New York Telephone as a Supervisor. She was a member of Church on the Rock in New Haven, where her son and daughter in-law, Todd and Leslie Foster served as her Pastor.
In addition to her son and daughter in-law, Todd and Leslie, she is survived by a son, Ronald R. (Beverly) Foster; grandchildren, Erica (Dwain) Caryl, Stefanie (Eli) Brown, Jeremy (Lindsay) Brown and Joan (James) Champion-Robinson; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Christian, Jr.
A memorial service celebrating Ms. Foster’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 1:00 PM at Church on the Rock, 95 Hamilton St., New Haven. Burial will be held Monday, November 7, 2016, in Indian Mission Church Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
