Diana E. Walker, 87, of Hamden, departed this life September 8, 2014. She was the widow of Chepus Walker.
Born in Georgetown County, SC, July 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mariah Keith Elder.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Christian Union Full Gospel Outreach Ministries.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Wilson, Maudest Davis and Martha Walker; a brother, James Elder; a sister, Lillie Mae Pyatt; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Walker’s life and legacy will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 9:00 A.M. at Christian Union Full Gospel Outreach Ministries, 426 Washington Ave., West Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00-9:00 A.M. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
